New Module Available: PrEP for HIV Prevention
This module includes presentations from Adam Visconti, MD, MPH and Tayiana Reed, PharmD, MS, AAHIVP, ACE, RPh, both from the DC AIDS Drug Assistance Program HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB Administration (HAHSTA) District of Columbia Department of Health. Health professionals with learn about the landscape of HIV and PrEP in the District of Columbia, the different types of PrEP medications, stigma surrounding HIV/PrEP, and details about cost of PrEP and cost assistance programs. Users of this module will have the tools they need to discuss PrEP with patients and make referrals for optimal HIV prevention care. This course is certified by ACME and ACPE and is worth 1 credit hour.
