DCRx Platform Upgrade – Frequently Asked Questions

Why is DCRx upgrading its platform?

We are moving to a new EthosCE environment to improve the learner experience. The upgrade will bring faster navigation, a cleaner interface, improved mobile access, enhanced CE reporting to accrediting bodies such as ACCME and ACPE, and more efficient learner support.
While the technology is improving, our mission remains the same: to provide free, unbiased, evidence-based continuing education from expert faculty that helps DC health professionals make informed clinical decisions and improve patient care.

Will the website address change?

No. The DCRx platform will remain at dcrxce.com both before and after the upgrade.

What is the deadline to complete my current courses?

All in-progress courses must be completed by Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM (ET).

What happens if I don’t finish my course by the deadline?

Any course not completed by December 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM (ET) will be reset after the migration. You will need to restart the course in the upgraded system after December 5th, 2025.

Can I access the site between December 3rd and December 5th?

Yes. You will be able to log in to https://cme.smhs.gwu.edu/www.dcrxce.com/ to view your transcript and download certificates. However, all courses will be closed for enrollment and completion.

Will my certificates and transcripts transfer to the new system?

Yes. All completed course records, certificates, and CE credits will carry over to the upgraded platform.

Do I need to create a new account after the upgrade?

No. Your user account will remain the same, and you can log in at dcrxce.com as usual. You will be prompted to reset your password.

Will my course progress carry over?

Only completed courses will carry over. Any incomplete courses will not retain progress and must be restarted after December 5th.

The upgraded DCRx will offer:

  • Faster load times and smoother course playback
  • Improved navigation and course search
  • Enhanced CE reporting to accrediting bodies
  • Easier, on-demand access to certificates and transcripts
